Help & Getting Started
A short guide to the first few things you’ll do. Nothing here is permanent — poke around.
Need a hand or found something broken?Blunt feedback is the most useful kind — especially “this was annoying” or “I couldn’t figure out where to tap.”
If you run the company (admin)
- Add your first system. Tap + New Inspection, enter the property name and address. That property becomes a permanent “system” with its own history.
- Walk the zones. Add a zone per station. Defaults assume a clean zone, so a good zone is one tap. Flag leaks, coverage or pressure problems as you go and add photos.
- Generate the report. When you’re done, generate the inspection report — it computes cycle efficiency, lists findings, prices the repair log, and writes the narrative.
- Invite your techs. Share your company join code (on the home screen) — they sign up at /join with their license, and you approve them under Techs.
- Give the customer portal access. From a property, grant access so the owner or property manager can see reports and request service.
If you’re a technician
- Sign up at /join with your company code and your license details. Your admin approves you before you can run field work.
- Open a system and check the Tech Briefing before you start — it summarizes what past visits found, zone by zone.
- Run the inspection from your phone. Photos attach to the zone you’re on.
- Anything you record becomes part of that property’s permanent history — including for whoever services it next.
Good things to try
- Controllers & Programming — record make/model and each zone’s run time, watering days and start times. Zones over the local watering-day limit get flagged.
- On-site report QR codes — print one per controller. Anyone on site can scan and report an issue with no login, and it lands in your queue.
- Backflow Compliance — log assemblies and annual tests; the next-due date is tracked and the report prints for your water provider.
- Work Orders — turn a reported issue into an estimate, get it approved, mark it performed, and bill it. Every step is timestamped and attributed.
Common questions
I forgot my password. Use Forgot your password on the sign-in page. If email isn’t set up yet, your company admin can generate a reset link for you from the Techs page.
Does this cost anything? Not during the beta. You’ll be told well before that changes.
Is my data separate from other companies? Yes — every query is scoped to your company, and cross-company access is blocked at every layer.
Can I delete my data? Yes, just ask. See the Privacy Policy.
